⚡ Delete My Account & Data

To request deletion of your OctoWoo B2B account and all associated data, email privacy@octopusbridge.com from the email address registered with the app. Include your store code and the email address on the account.

Upon receiving a verified request, we will within 30 days:

Delete your user profile, cart history, and session data from our servers.
Forward your deletion request to your wholesaler for removal of customer records from their WooCommerce store (records related to completed orders may be retained by the wholesaler for tax/compliance reasons — this is beyond our control).
Send you written confirmation when deletion is complete.

Data categories deleted: Name, email, user ID, phone number, shipping/billing address, cart contents, login timestamps.

Data that may be retained: Anonymized order records required by law (e.g., tax, VAT, accounting obligations) — stored by the wholesaler, not by OctoWoo B2B.

1. Introduction

OctoWoo B2B ("we", "our", or "the app") is a business-to-business mobile application that enables wholesale customers to browse products, scan barcodes, and place orders through their wholesaler's online store. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use the app:

Account Information: Your email address and name, as provided by your wholesaler through their store system.
Order Data: Products you add to your cart and orders you place, including delivery preferences.
Device Information: Camera access is used solely for scanning product barcodes. We do not store images or video.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for:

Authenticating your identity to access your wholesaler's store.
Processing and tracking your orders.
Maintaining your shopping cart between sessions.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with the wholesaler whose store you are connected to, in order to process your orders. Your order data is transmitted to the wholesaler's WooCommerce store. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored securely on encrypted cloud servers. Passwords are managed by your wholesaler's system and are never stored by our app. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

6. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your account and order data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time — see the Delete My Account & Data section at the top of this page for step-by-step instructions.

7. Camera Permission

The app requests camera access solely for the purpose of scanning product barcodes. No images, videos, or other camera data are captured, stored, or transmitted.

8. Children's Privacy

OctoWoo B2B is a business application and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
